Finding your Soul is our Forte
At Birchwood Kia, we have had a lot of success with the new Soul. The Soul has gone over well with it’s cool styling and incredible amount of accessories. So far customers are purchasing the Soul because it’s an inexpensive new styled car that really turns some heads. However the ride, handling, standard options and safety features are what every one loves with the new Soul.
The Soul’s cockpit comes in a variety of striking colours, most with a two-tone effect that highlights the raised centre console, which supports all the gadgets buyers just have to have. That said, it is well laid out with clear and easy access to all controls and a nice array of storage compartments.
Driving the Soul – which is more my generation’s concern – showcases a light vehicle with independent front suspension, low centre of gravity and a torquey low end from the 2.0L engine that seemed to channel the soul of a go-kart. The solid rear axle with torsion-mounted trailing arms contributed to flat cornering, and this design doesn’t intrude as much into the cabin.
Four-wheel brakes with ABS and active traction control systems are included in the Soul for when scooting gets out of hand. Interior noise is average for a vehicle this size, but if the sub woofers are booming, you’ll never notice. Come in and see our generous selection you won’t be disappointed.
